What it does

Your sixth item slot.

Every serious companion is Windows-only. Rift Companion is built for the Mac client. Champ-select data in the app window, live panels pinned to your game.

Builds that follow the game

Popular build and matchup build panels pin beside the game. What you saw in champ select is what you see at first back. Current patch. Honest, sourced provenance.

Two floating in-game overlay panels: a violet Popular Build panel with the item path, next item and rune, and a teal Matchup panel versus Garen with an Unfavored verdict, counter items and rune

Cooldowns you control

Click an enemy summoner spell when it's used and the panel counts it back, item- and level-aware. Manual marking, honest numbers. Your format: seconds, m:ss, or minutes. Choose in Settings.

Enemy cooldowns overlay: each enemy's champion portrait beside their two summoner-spell icons, with live m:ss countdown timers on the spells that are down

Gold, at a glance

Hold Tab and the lane lead leads: how far ahead of (or behind) your lane opponent you are in gold, with per-champion totals and the team lead below. Release, it's gone.

Gold overlay led by the lane lead: you 700 gold ahead of your lane opponent on a diverging bar, above the team gold lead and the full roster of per-champion gold

Questions

Asked and answered.

Will this get me banned? +
Rift Companion is read-only: it never writes to the client, injects nothing, and reads no game memory. Those are the exact practices Riot's guidelines prohibit. It uses only Riot's official local APIs, the same ones those guidelines permit. Riot's policies can change, and your account is your responsibility.
Does it work with Vanguard on Mac? +
Yes. League on macOS ships embedded Vanguard since early 2025, and Rift Companion is built to live inside the rules: official local APIs, nothing else.
Where does the data come from? +
Popular builds and counters from op.gg; champion, item and rune data from Riot's own Data Dragon; your live game from the local client APIs on your machine. Your game data never leaves your Mac — the app sends only an anonymous usage ping (opt-out in Settings).
What permissions does it ask for? +
None. No Screen Recording, no Accessibility, no Input Monitoring with the default keys. Only if you rebind to certain keys does macOS require Input Monitoring, and the app tells you.
Does it press keys or play for me? +
No. It reads, you play. No automation of any kind.
What do I need? +
macOS 14 or newer and League of Legends installed. It's free.

Lock in smarter.

One quiet companion, built for the Mac client.
